First of all, thank you Bill for all that you do with the list.

Even though the Spearfish, SD Walmart is listed as NOP, we stopped there to buy groceries and check it out. The customer service lady told me they were glad for us to stay overnight. However, she was required to tell us there was a city ordinance against overnight RV parking. She went on to say that she knew of nobod ever being bothered or asked to leave. We stayed along with 5 other RV's in the outer lot with no problems. Just though I'd pass this on to the group.

We have seen "no RV parking" signs in other Walmarts, but when I talk to customer service personnel, they usually say we can STAY and sometimes point out that the signs are for liability issues. We have been refused a couple of times with suggestions of other places to stay.

About 10 years ago we stopped at a Walmart near Plymouth Rock. We asked for
permission and asked if we could stay 2 nights leaving the coach for the
day while we visited Plymouth. They said your welcome to stay, just park on
the far side of the lot BY THE NO OVERNIGHT PARKING SIGNS.

But it does vary. I was at the Walmart in Springfield OR. Was told they
didn't mind if I stayed but a city ordinance forbade staying overnight. At
8pm I was having tea in my camper van with a friend who lives in
Springfield. I was still in their parking lot . I had already decided to
move as there were no RVs there when suddenly a tow truck pulled up and a
burly man knocked loudly on my door and told me I couldn't stay there
overnight. I pointed out it was not yet night. He said I had been there for
6 hours (they were obviously watching). I had been shopping, deciding where
to go and synching up with my friend.

At 9pm she left and so did I...

No I was in a camper van class B. I can't remember what kind of tow vehicle
he had. My class B needs to be towed on a flat bed so he might have damaged
it also towing it.
